I'd been teaching my weekly Pilates classes for some time when I noticed an influx of new parents in Walthamstow. Knowing how strong you had to be to have a baby, I got inspired. I felt it unfair that society still had a sexist perspective of labelling women as frail when they became pregnant. It's one of the most physically intense things a human can go through. I knew that it was time to flip the script on these ideas. I decided to get qualified as a pre and post natal instructor so, together, we can dispel these myths and show people how strong mums can be if they do the appropriate exercise.
